Electric dirt bikes in Seattle
Pacific Northwest riding is wet, rooty and traction-limited for much of the year, which rewards a light machine and progressive power far more than peak output. Washington also asks more of your bike than most states — see the equipment requirements below.
Where to ride near Seattle
This shapes which machine is right more than any spec does. Riding any of them requires a Washington ORV decal.
Washington DNR — Off-Road Vehicle recreation
DNR maintains the ORV trail listings and the rules for its land. Riding DNR and WDFW trails carries equipment requirements beyond the decal — see below.

We ship to Seattle regularly, but we have not ridden there ourselves, so we are not going to name spots we cannot vouch for. The agency list is the one that stays current.
Not on this list: Seattle streets, sidewalks, bike paths and park trails. That is the riding that has driven tightening regulation across California.

Frequently asked questions
- Where can I buy a Sur-Ron or Talaria in Seattle?
- From us. We are an authorized dealer based in San Jose, about 840 miles from our San Jose floor, and we ship to Seattle by freight. Typically 3–4 business days by freight. Every bike is uncrated, checked and set up before it leaves rather than drop-shipped sealed.
- Where can I ride an electric dirt bike near Seattle?
- On designated OHV land and on private property with the owner's permission. Washington DNR — Off-Road Vehicle recreation maintains the current list for your area — we would rather point you at the agency that keeps it up to date than name a spot that may have closed. Washington requires a Washington ORV decal.
- Can I ride one on the street in Seattle?
- No. These are electric off-road motorcycles and are not street legal in stock form. An ORV is by definition non-street-registered. Public roads are not legal riding for a stock machine. Washington asks more of the bike than most states. Riding DNR and WDFW land requires a USFS-approved spark arrester and muffling system, headlight and taillight in darkness, and brakes with a brake light. A securely fastened motorcycle helmet is required on non-highway roads.
- Which bike suits riding near Seattle?
- Talaria X3 MX. Wet roots and off-camber climbs punish sudden power. At 5 kW and 121 lb the X3 is the most controllable machine we sell in low traction, and 62 miles covers a long day. That said, seat height and your own experience matter more than terrain — tell us your height and weight and we will give you a straight answer.
- How long does delivery to Seattle take?
- Typically 3–4 business days by freight. Bikes ship crated on a pallet as UN3481 Class 9 freight, and we quote the cost against your address before you pay rather than burying it at checkout.
