Talaria X3 MX for sale

Air-cooled IPM, 121 lb, up to 62 miles.

In stock Off-road only 2024 · 2025

The X3 MX is the original TL2500 platform — light, low and easy to ride, on 17 inch wheels front and rear. It is the machine we most often suggest to a rider stepping up from a pit bike who wants something forgiving.

  • 19 in front / 17 in rear
  • 121 lb with battery
  • 60V 40Ah, up to 62 mi
  • 4-piston hydraulic brakes

Talaria X3 MX top speed, range and power

The Talaria X3 MX top speed is 47 mph, and it will cover up to 62 miles on a charge, from a 5 kW peak motor rated at 2.5 kW continuous producing 233 N·m at the rear wheel. It weighs 121 lb with a 31.9 in seat.

Peak output is a burst figure — on a long climb or in deep sand you are riding the 2.5 kW continuous rating, which is the honest number to compare between machines. The pack is fixed, so the bike charges where it is parked.

Talaria X3 MX and Talaria xXx: the same bike

If you are searching for a Talaria xXx, Talaria XXX, Talaria Triple X, this is it. The Talaria X3 MX was previously sold under those names — it was renamed, not replaced.

Note the generation. This is the earlier one — the Talaria X3 Pro is the current generation, sold as the Talaria xXx Pro. They share a platform and much of their hardware, so check which one you are pricing.

That matters when you are shopping for parts or reading owner advice: anything published for the Talaria xXx applies to this machine. The specifications on this page are the current ones. Our Talaria parts catalogue lists fitment against the current model name.

Who the Talaria X3 MX is for

A good fit if you are

  • First-time riders — this is the most forgiving full-size machine either brand builds
  • Shorter riders: 31.9 in is the lowest full-size seat in the range
  • Anyone prioritising ride time over outright pace, on a claimed 62 miles
  • Teenagers stepping up from a junior machine
  • Trail riders who want to be out all day rather than fast for an hour

Look elsewhere if

  • Riders who will want more than 47 mph within a season — buy the Sting R MX4 instead
  • Apartment dwellers and anyone who cannot charge where the bike is parked, because the pack is fixed
  • Riders wanting a deep aftermarket, which Sur-Ron does better

What it is like to ride

The X3 is the bike we recommend to more people than any other, and almost none of the reasons are on the spec sheet. 121 lb and a 31.9 in seat mean a rider at 5'6" can flat-foot it, and 5 kW arrives progressively rather than violently — there is still instant electric torque, but it does not try to loop out from under someone learning throttle control. That calibration is harder to engineer than raw output, and it is why the X3 gets more people into this sport successfully than anything else. The fixed battery is the one real compromise; if you cannot charge where the bike lives, look elsewhere.

Talaria X3 MX price

The Talaria X3 MX is $3,295 . That is firm US retail, benchmarked against live US dealer listings — freight is quoted separately against your destination.

The cheapest full-size machine we carry, and the longest claimed range of any 60V model here. That combination is why it sells.

Common questions

What is the Talaria X3 MX top speed?
The Talaria X3 MX has a top speed of 47 mph, from a 5 kW peak motor rated at 2.5 kW continuous and 233 N·m at the rear wheel. Expect less into a headwind, uphill, on soft ground or with a heavier rider — that is true of every machine in this class.
How much does the Talaria X3 MX cost?
The Talaria X3 MX is $3,295. That is our firm US retail price, checked against live US dealer listings — not an indicative figure or an MSRP we hope to hit.
How far will the Talaria X3 MX go on a charge?
Up to 62 miles from its 60V 40Ah pack, depending on terrain, rider weight and ride mode. The battery is fixed, so the bike has to go where the charger is — worth knowing if you live in an apartment or park outdoors. A full charge takes about 4 hours.
What is the seat height of the Talaria X3 MX?
31.9 inches, and the bike weighs 121 lb. Seat height decides suitability more often than power does, so if you are between models it is the number to compare first. Maximum payload is 220 lb.
Is the Talaria X3 MX street legal?
No. This is a high-powered electric off-road motorcycle and is not street legal in most US jurisdictions in stock form. It is intended for private land and designated OHV riding areas. California SB 586 created an "eMoto" classification effective 1 January 2026 — it classifies these machines, it does not make them street legal.
Is the Talaria X3 MX the same as the Talaria xXx?
Yes. Talaria xXx, Talaria XXX, Talaria Triple X are earlier names for this same machine — the bike was renamed, not replaced. Parts, manuals and owner advice published under the old name apply to this bike, and the specifications on this page are the current ones.
Talaria X3 MX or Sur-Ron Light Bee X?
The Talaria X3 MX is 5 kW and 47 mph at 121 lb, on a 31.9 in seat. The Sur-Ron Light Bee X is 8 kW and 47 mph at 126 lb, on a 32.7 in seat. Weight and seat height usually decide this, not power — we compare them side by side if you want the detail.
