The Talaria Sting R is a beast, Its bigger then I expected it to be, Which is awesome because im 6’2 and 200 pounds. Shes a ripper, I got her up to 55, Its tons of fun and for sure worth the price. No regrets!

   I take this thing everywhere and absolutely love it! Only changes I’ve made so far are bigger pegs and riser bars because I’m 6’ 4”. But man this things RIPS! Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. It literally unlocks new parts of the world to explore! Couldn’t be happier!

   Just 10 days into the Talaria MX4 and I’m happy with it. I dropped the forks about 2mm (making the top-clamp flush with top-of-forks) and that made it feel much more planted entering turns. Five stars for the emotobykes team. Much appreciated!

   Just unpacked my bike and absolutely love it only complaint is when it was being pack to ship i guess someone was in a hurry or something cause when i opened it the bars were against the forks and didn’t have anything around it to keep it from rubbing so it made a pretty large impression on the bars and forks so i guess the packaging process could have been better but it’s a great bike

I ordered a Surron and a Sting R MX 4 and the sting has a lot more power and quicker throttle response. Came right to my door with no problems. Will definately be ordering from emoto again.     The bike is a fair amount bigger then i expected it to be, you can feel the heft when riding, however boy does it go. First ride i took i panicked and whisky throttled it snapped off the rear seat fender. I think ill keep it as a trophy, it reminded me to take things slow. I absolutely love it and so does most of the family.

    I love this bike! I did a few upgrades to make it ride a bit more like a motorbike. Starting with the 21/18 wheels, Warp9 pegs, direct bar mount, and a few other things to round out the setup and stop the inherent rattling. This setup is quiet, rips the trails and turns heads at the same time. Great power, great battery range and so much fun I want to ride it every day!

    I ride a 450 husky motocross and I was worried this was going to feel like a toy. I was wrong, it has plenny power and is so much fun. eMoto bykes was fair and good to work with. I live in Hawaii and they shipped it to my door. Mahalo 🤙

    Its the wish that keeps on giving. Amazes everyone who powder burns. I dream of my next ride and adventure. I trip out while riding. Its so quiet. I can creep up, and zip out, and nobody knew i was even there. I just wish it had came out earlier like in 1988?

    Best money I’ve spent to date! The fact that this bike costs less than what a nice mountain bike does defies logic. I’ve had it a for a few months so I’m able to judge what I do and do not like. Pros: powerful, long battery life, larger than Sur Ron, looks great. Cons: battery rattle, terrible breaks (can be fixed just by replacing pads), and suspension is mediocre. I have upgraded the controller, put 18/21 moto wheels and tires, riser bars, wider pegs, and a 52t sprocket. Very happy with it after making those modifications. Beware: if you put a larger 21” tire on the front, the fender will rub! I would not recommend doing the 18/21 set up and instead keeping the stock rims and putting larger tires on. The added weight does restrict the power even with an aftermarket controller. All things considered, I’d still buy another in a heartbeat. It’s so nice being able to ride in almost anywhere because it’s quiet.

    After owning the original Surron, the LBX, the Black, and several 125’s. This thing stacks up. The MX4 is exactly what you’d want the Surron to be and easily competes with bigger bikes on the trails. The Eco mode on the MX4 feels like the sport mode on a Surron. I have made no power modifications on my TWO mx4’s and couldn’t be happier. Yeah. It was so damn good out of the box, I bought another one from emoto bykes a week later.

    My biggest ‘heck yeah, son’ comes from the geared secondary drive compared to the Surron’s pesky belt secondary. I really and truly feel like the people at Talaria took the time to read the comments and make the corresponding changes. I will say, the Surron is great for smaller and less experienced riders. I kept one for my wife. That being said, if I want to rip trails or screw around town, I choose the Talaria time and time again.

    To be totally frank, I have no earthly idea why the Talaria is cheaper than the Surron. I have beat the ever-living dog s*** out of the MX4 and it just keeps pushing. I have 2800 miles on my MX4 and haven’t noticed any power losses. It will still pick up the front tire on a 10mph roll.

    When it comes to the negatives, of course even the goods have negatives, the brakes aren’t spectacular, the suspension needs tuning from factory or a totally new set, and the oem tires wear so quickly that you’ll need a new set after 300 miles if not sooner. Better pegs are always a must. Better grips and bars. I usually go to a fork mounted bar block rather than the stem. Buy a brake bleed kit right away on amazon for the bike if you plan on keeping the stock brakes. They are prone to going soft. (Not at random, but over time) $25 on amazon. The battery tends to rattle around in it’s cage, but that can be fixed with some balled up shop rags. I should clarify… the oem Surron’s suffer from the same exact issues other than the battery rattle. Se la Vie.

    If you’re on the fence about getting one, I’d go ahead and hop off. Go ahead and roll with it. I’m a CPA and even I can label it as a damn good purchase in my book.

    Had it for about 2 months. It’s amazing. LOVE the torque/power.Great suspension. Great quality all-around What a rush slamming the throttle and feeling the pull as it bolts up a steep hill! Very confident over rocky terrain or pavement. I also own the Talaria XXX but this is the better ride! If you’re undeceided, I would highly recommend spending the extra money for the Sting R simply for the added power and the quieter motor. I’m 5’11 at 215lbs. Just needed to add better pegs and a probably a more comfortable (taller?) steering position. Go for it!

    Shipped too Hawaii in perfect condition. Easy to set up and everything works better then expected; coming from the motocross world. This thing is light and tons of torque. Once you learn the regen mode, it allows you to move like a 4 stroke. Great add to my 2 wheel collection! Great service emotobykes

    I hope I don’t jynx myself by writing this review too soon! I bought one of these last Thursday evening and in less that a week it was in my driveway. That in itself is freaking awesome. I didn’t realize that this website has all the installation instructions and the manual, but luckily I simply googled it and found a helpful video very quickly. I put it together in about 30 minutes and was too anxious to ride it to charge the battery fully! It was at 78% from the factory, which was way more charge than I was expecting. I rode about 20 miles until the battery was down to about 23% and let me tell you – this thing is the BEE’S KNEES!!! I felt incredibly comfortable on it and I am 6’2′ and 220lbs. It was very easy to maneuver and I clipped a certain wire, so I got her up to 52mph!! I was too excited to care about getting pulled over, so I was going on the main roads and in some instances I was actually having to wait on cars in front of me!! Like I said I hope this doesn’t jynx me, but so far I am incredibly impressed. Everything from the ordering to the customer service to the fast delivery to the awesome bike itself, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made.
