The 2023 Storm Bee looks good and performs much better, with a maximum range of 120 km (75 miles) and 520 Nm of torque. Few other off-road motorcycles can match the seat-of-the-pants riding experience that the Storm Bee offers, whether you’re heading out to carve some single-trail or spending a weeknight doing laps at the local MX track. Also, it will draw attention wherever you go.
The North American version of the 2023 Storm Bee comes as an off-road-only model. Unique to the North American version, you’ll receive both a headlight and number plate to cater the bike to your taste and riding environment.
STUNNING FRAME DESIGN
The high-strength aluminium frame of the Storm Bee maximises riding enjoyment by providing both rigidity and suppleness. The battery pack, motor control unit (MCU), and motor are arranged compactly to reduce unsprung weight and balance the Storm Bee. The Storm Bee has outstanding off-road manoeuvrability and high-speed stability because to its 1,430 mm wheelbase and steering geometry.
HIGH PERFORMANCE ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN
The Storm Bee's 104V/55Ah battery pack, which has a maximum range of 70 miles and a top speed of 75 mph, is the engine of the vehicle. In four hours, use the provided charger to recharge the Storm Bee by plugging it into a regular wall outlet. The liquid-cooled, brushless (BLDC) motor's power is efficiently and safely managed by a finely constructed FOC motor control unit. When temperatures rise too high, built-in sensors maximise battery life by automatically optimising power delivery.
TURBO & REVERSE BUTTONS
Two of the most unique features on the Surron Storm Bee are turbo and reverse. Pressing the turbo button gives you a short, extra boost of power at full throttle. Meanwhile, the functional reverse button will be a welcome feature for riders who find themselves in tricky situations on the trail. It's this kind of innovation and outside-the-box thinking that sets Surron apart.

My Son has been begging me for over a year for a Sur Ron. I didn’t know where I was going to purchase, decided to go thru emotobykes and found Jake. Hands down the BEST customer service. From the moment I ordered I got updated regularly from Jake since my bike had to be shipped in from china. But he was super helpful even prior to my order, spending time with me on the phone and answering all my questions. The wrong color was shipped out to me, but after talking to them, they were able to send me out new plastics, decals, and a seat to basically make it the color that I ordered. The RFN now. SO. MUCH. FUN!!! I grew up racing motocross and while this is not the same, it’s pretty freakin close. It’s got plenty of powers even with me being 220lbs and feels extremely nimble. The cockpit feels a little cramped but really not bad at all. I would say it feels like 85% of the size of a 250f. The bike is great, emotobykes is great, and Jake is great.
The construction isn't perfect, but it gets the job done. There could be some QoL upgrades added, and some parts could be upgraded, but overall, it delivers what it promised.
